This months club woodturning demo was on lamp turning. After a very good and informative demo I got the unfinished piece (first pic). The wood had started to split at the top so it was going to need to be shorter. Here is the finished article.

Shame about the split, I liked the elegance of the original turning.

But as is our way, you took the problem in hand as a design opportunity. Well recovered.

Paul.  That's one very nice lamp, be very pleased with it. You learnt well from the demo.
