An own made blank casting using black accents from a slimline pen, the center band is made from plastic.

Jim,

I imagine like everyone else I'm seeing fire or lava in this casting and the black accentuates the colours.

Looks great and would certainly be difficult to loose.

What have you used, epoxy or polyester resin?

Bryan, this is Polyester, my first mix that actually came out ok, my first 2 attempts were  ... well lets just say failures ...  ::)

I do try to use black on red when ever i can, making my own center bands helps me keep to this regime ...
