Hi George,
It does swivel, one of the pictures that did not load showed the "swivel unit"
I will try again to load it

Hi guys thanks for C&C's
The finish is Danish oil, the humidity is quite low in the shower room (well ventilated).
George here is a close up of the swivel, basically its just a mortice and tenon joint with a brass nut and bolt (from an old loose leaf ring binder)
