I got a Nexus tablet which will be really handy for fairs etc to show a gallery of my work as well as keeping records. Not exactly a Christmas present but an ex customer is dropping off a load of yew later today which is rather good as well.

I did rather better than expected. I got a 9mm bowl gouge, the Sorby toolpost system with a bowl rest and a trinket box rest, but best of all was the Proxon carving tool.

Happy New Year, guys...Les

Oh, I must get in touch with the club secretary and get her to send ours, don't want you to get rusty Paul! ;D
I did get a rather nice piece of Wenge and an antique thread making box,for an 1 1/4" thread along with the tap to go with it.
Just need to stop the roof leaking on the house and the shed and then I can get some work done.

On mailing the 2 days and nothing for Friday... not till Monday now.

If a present, my membership renewed for me.

Cheers

Got a secondhand Nova DVR, complete with cast iron stand, outrigger and supernova chuck thrown in as well.  This was an upgrade to my Record DML 305 - what a difference!  Rock solid even with an out of balance 14" blank.  Very happy chappy 8)
