It's a wild plant called dipsacus, looks a bit like a thistle,sticks to clothing

They used to use them for raising the knap on cloth, in my town there is a Teasle house, a building with every other brick missing and they would hang the teasles in there to dry before use.

Teasels, loved by insects when in flower, and birds when they turn to seed.

But me when set into a resin like this and turned so well. George is our resin man but for a first effort you've certainly got something going for you there, keep going, this could be an interesting journey.
