Nice work I really like the cake stand and the rim that it has.

It's the sycamore bowl that does it for me....nice clean lines and keeps it simple.

The Walnut, every time. The balance of the heartwood makes it look amazing.

Eric, got to say it's the table for me ... honest .. that's a nicely marked piece of oak, definitely the Sycamore, like the foot, a Mark Baker touch, but when it come to the Walnut, just might steal the show, there's that something with the grain ..

The Teak, it's open grain/pores show in the picture .. the inside, mainly the flat bottom lets it down, nice flow to the outside, could it have done with a defined foot, now with it upside down .. the flowing grain is so uniform it's as if water flowing round a pier or an odd round craft making wakes/ripples ... or is it me.

Cheers  David

David,my idea with the teak bowl was that the inside follows the shape of the outside, hence the flat bottom inside, just my choice at the time, what I should have done was to mirror perfectly the outside, like the inside of a box with a sharp edge instead of the rounded over one, cheers,Eric.
