A pair of Oval Bowls

This pair of bowls are turned from Ash approx 10" x 6 1/2" x 3"
The undersides are painted black and limed.

I might be totally on the wrong track but the fact that this latest design in bowls from you are always in pairs gives me an idea of how they can be done. This oval pair definitely. Am I on the right track? The quality etc is as always top class and thought provoking.

I like theses the oval shape combine with the beading give's them that little bit extra that I've come to expect from the work that you post  :)

I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?
