Trying to develop the form of my last piece to a more fluid shape....looking for a look as if stamped out of a sheet rather than carved out of a block if that makes sense. Still having trouble spotting all the tool marks that need removing.....they hide until I've finished sanding and waxing and then they jump out and go HA HA!
Happier with the base now though.....

That looks to be an improvement.
If it was me I would put a groove around the bowl to add definition

Chris try spraying a mist of water over your work and then sanding it when dry, it may help you.
