Here is one of my latest teapots called Speckled Tea, made from Pear and airbrushed to give it that old enamel look.
Hope to meet many of you at the AWGB Seminar in a few weeks where l can show you how l make my teapots.

These appear to be of absolutely fantastic quality craftsmanship , but I find the subject matter  ( teapot )  a bit  odd !... not in a displeasing manner I must add !! and no sign of what it is made from .. great stuff though !!.. Terry ...

I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

If I did not know better I'd believe this was an enamelled teapot. Very clever post-turning artwork.

Perfect, captures the very essence of an enamel teapot .. need to de-fluff the handle.

Cheers for sharing.  David

Glad you'd said Tom' ...   ;D ...  You'll be finding it a lot cooler here .. other than the heat of the moment, under the spot light.

Ah the chance for proper Tea' for once & take some back ...   ;) ...

Cheers

Thanks for all your comments, I am looking forward to cooler weather, and a cuppa, they drink iced tea here, not quite the same but is refreshing in the heat.   Michael.
