Nesting Bowls 1
« on: August 15, 2015, 06:49:01 PM »
I have had a Bowl saver for about ten years and used it about twice and I have always tried to avoid making anything useful.
I have always tried to make things that were good to look at rather than useful.
Anyway I have just combined making something useful and using my Bowl saver and these are the results.
The large bowl in this set is 11" x 4" turned from beech.

Nice bowls.

As Ashley Harwood repeatedly said at the Seminar......

"You can charge so much more when it has no use"

I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?
