Knitting Bowl

Due to a reorganisation of my barn, I haven't been able to do much turning recently. However, I turned this piece a few months a go for my sister, who enjoys knitting.

C+C welcome.

An excellent looking yarn bowl Ralph, what are the dimensions on it. I have been thinking of turning a few of these myself. My niece is heavy into knitting and would love it.

Ralph,

I like your take on the Knitting bowl, I've made them mainly when a bowl develops a crack and by cutting it out you can form the thread channel.

Never thought to put a lid on one though.

Hi All.

Thank you for your positive comments.

Tom, it's about 140mm in diameter. I made it roughly the size of a ball of wool.

Like Brian, not done them with a lid before. Ads a bit of class LOL.
