Fractal update
« on: November 22, 2015, 02:55:22 PM »

These are the result of Tony spending a few days trying to control the beast...... its like Taming a Tiger.... or our Youngest Son  :)
The Coloured ones are spirit Stained with a Spray Finish. The Natural one has a oiled satin finish.
The heights are 11" natural one... 15" and 12" stained ones and 7" sphere.
    Comments as always most welcome

Hi Tony and Di. All of these are lovely. I wish I had the time and courage to try this technique as the effects you are demonstrating are terrific. Well done  and thank you for showing us these. Malcolm.

Thank You Very Much Malcolm....... The Good Thing is we no longer have to set the alarm clock ..... so think our  selves very lucky
that the time we have is  our own...... but there is still not enough hours in a day to play.
   Much Appreciated
   Kind Regards
   Tony & Di

Wow!!!!
loving the middle and bottom photos especially!!! You are rocking that technique!
the middle one reminds me in a way of some of the work of Emile Galle.
I have been thinking of reproducing Raku effects for some time and this could be an ideal method.
lovely work - well done tony!

Trying to control the beast - are you using conductive salts to try and direct the direction of the effect?

Whatever you are doing, be careful but keep it up, these look amazing.

Thank You Very Much Bryan...... There are many methods used. When doing these its one time when you need to be Ultra Safety
Conscious..... with a bit of look there will be another post using mixed mediums.

    Kind regards

Thank You Very Much....Eric...............Thank You Very Much .. Mark
I am having to use Tonys computer and its taking a bit of getting used to..... in fact its taken most of the day to get this far.
I decided to give my little laptop a drink of coffee last night  ::)... it didn`t like it ..... it must prefer tea  ;D ;D

Thank you very much Steve w...... All the pieces are about 4mm..... could not go any thinner as they could have burnt through.
Its a good job I got these posted when I did I have yet to work out photobucket on Tonys computer... in the meantime
We Could Be Gone For Sometime  :( :(
   Much appreciated Guys
   Kind Regards
   Di & Tony
