List very quiet
« on: December 27, 2015, 12:42:18 AM »
The list has been very quiet for the last few days.

Have members deserted their sheds for some reason?

Perhaps things will pick up soon

I've been checking in, and had have a lot of postings in the gallery to catch up on.

Currently digging the workshop out. I've fitted a new racking system and today a new bench-top and (it brakes my heart) sorted a load of 'it'll come in useful one day' stuff out to go to the charity shops or the dump. But as I need to make room for a new bandsaw that is inbound, it's not all bad news.
Oh Lord, Lead me not into temptation…

...Oh who am I kidding, follow me, I know a shortcut!

I also have to make time for a trip to Yandles to spend my vouchers. Not sure what to get yet. Tidied the workshop before Christmas so its nice to walk into a nice neat work area. Cut some Yew up today but full of splits so not impressed with that.

hi Julian no I have done 3 of that demo now so time to move on and try demoing something else. this one is a bit off every thing. I am doing a demo for a salt seller, egg cup and a presentation plate that will be mounted on the lathe 5 times. then in a few months time I am doing a one on the floating bowl that I have posted a photo of it. I think I have also posted a photo of the other as well I think.
