Reg Slack
« on: March 04, 2016, 10:36:53 AM »
We have heard rumours that Reg Slack has passed away but I cannot find anything to confirm this. Does anyone know if that is the case? I am hoping someone can answer this as it would be very awkward to just phone his number.
Regards,

Hi Paul

Yes, Reg passed away on the 20th February and the funeral was on the 3 March.

Thanks for that Dave. Shame I didn't ask earlier as I, and I think some other club members would like to have attended the funeral.

We will miss Reg at the shows, with his carefree, helpful attitude to all woodturners.

Sad news. I never met reg but when I started reading woodturning magazine I often followed and made his articles, he is one of the many I owe much too. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
