Birch bowl....
« on: April 05, 2016, 10:44:13 AM »
A lovely piece of spalted silver birch.  Turned as thin as I dare (about 2mm) whilst quite wet and air dried over about 10 days.  Not much movement, just a small crack in the base filled with CA & coffee grounds.  4" high x 5" diameter.  C&C welcome.

A very pleasant little bowl with just enough discoloration in the birch to make it even more intetresting, and I like the way that it sits at an angle.

Chris,

that is very cleanly turned and at 2mm thick, well done indeed.
