This post shows 4 panels mounted on an easel. Each sycamore panel is approximately 222 x 143 x 21 mm and contains a Fibonacci-based spiral of mini-bowls. Mini-bowl size progression is approximately linear rather than following a logarithmic expansion.
Firstly it shows how much more comfortable the logarithmic spiral (base phi - the Fibonacci spiral) looks contained within a so-called golden rectangle than within a circular disc as shown in my 1st post of this series.
The whole reflects the 2 themes I have been exploring this year ...Reflections (mirror images) and Spirals and is the last in this series of posts.
The title uses some artistic licence because the so-called Nautilus spiral, while very similar is different from Fibonacci's spiral
