I am chuffed to bits

I thought I would share this with you. We held the  the AGM of Kennet and Avon Woodturning Club last night. The club was first talked about on this forum and with help and advice from Andy Coates, and Mike Collas,  who was the SW rep at the time, the club was formed in 2008 with the inaugural meeting in February 2009. I was made chairman (only because no one wanted the job) and I have been chairman ever since. Last night I handed over the chairmanship to Bernard Bunn, who I am sure will be a very good chairman but once I had handed over I was made an Honorary Lifetime Member of the club. I was also presented with a hand turned pltter that was pyrographed with a very nice inscription. I am so pleased with it, chuffed to bits.
           So I would publicly like to thank Bernard for taking over the reins and the members of Kennet and Avon Woodturning Club for their very generous offer and for the suppport that they have given me over the last few years.
