Coloured Lime H/F
« on: February 17, 2017, 09:51:39 PM »
Not been on the lathe for a bit due to work so here is my latest piece. I'ts a lime H/F with a Blackwood finial. Never measured it but it's about 10" overall height (including finial).
Coloured with acrylics.
C & C's welcome as usual.

Hi Gary.
Really like this one. The form is spot on as is the finial. The colouring effect is brilliant. Thank you for sharing.

Gary,

I reckon you have a job lot of Lime to work through.

Having said that, you are making good use of the stuff. This stands out as really different and very modern.

However I think the bobbin on the finial is a little long, it lifts the teardrop too much.
