'Petrosphere'
« on: February 25, 2017, 01:14:22 PM »
Elm and boxwood, may be a bit tenuous calling it a 'Petrosphere', but that was the inspiration for it. Carved, scorched and dyed. Wanted to have the worn look of an archeological find. 80mm end to end, 65mm wide and hollowed through the 20mm opening. 1st go with the micro motor. Nice wee machine. Critique welcome. Have a good weekend.

I like that - grid looks even and flowing. Colouring works well. Well done, its a great piece IMO.

A very interesting effect, and a very unusual little box.

I like it a lot.
