I like the form, it's a good shape; the foot 'Meh'.
Looking at the colour, I'd have guessed that you had fumed it gently in Ammonia, but you say it's ebonised. A bit light for ebonisation but I like the consistent colour and it brings out the grain differently for oak.
A tall finial is always a problem, I can turn super thin ones, but they become a problem, who do you trust to touch them, and what if the purchaser breaks it at some later time? But the sweep of the rising curve is right, just not convinced about the arrow head on top.
