Lovely lathe , I have owned 2 in the past , Excellent quality and as said you can see its had very little use

I notice from the two pictures that they appear to use the same cast-iron elements and switchgear as Record Power did on their Maxi 1 lathe.

Yes Record did sell them painted green for several years

It's a good price for the lathe, but it's something that wouldn't suit many amateur turners. From what I can find out it weighs in at 270kg, so is a serious proposition to collect and install.

If I hadn't just bought a decent lathe......

When I transported my 910 , you can unbolt the legs , Remove the tailstock , then I used a sack barrow to wheel the main chassis out to my estate car , Easy really , Did it on my own in pieces  ;)
