For someone who doesn't usually make bowls I am being kept in business lately. This is the one that Mo is working on at the moment. Apparently a bit of touching up to do on the butterflies then the grasses and flowers to do. Just pyro'd in at the moment.
The marks in the centre are natural by the way, some sort of spalting. The wood is pear and the bowl is 11 1/2" diameter

You and Mo seem to have found a niche market, Pete, and you are fulfilling it admirably.
Keep 'em coming!

Thank you Les. Not something we planned but loving the way it is going. Had a sale, commission etc already from it. It is something special for us as well collaborating like this.

Pete, M,
Loving the way you are bringing the natural world into your work. The blend of nature and wood, a natural material, really binds well and looks great.

All done, just give it 24 hours to thoroiughly dry and then polish. The butterflies are a red admiral, a long tailed blue and a wall brown. C&C welcome as always.

Yes, Pete your definitely on a roll. The artwork and the turning compliment each other very well and the buying public agree with you.
