Salad Bowl

  Many thanks to Tony & Di ( George ) for this piece of Walnut, it took for ever to dry but is now finish turned and oiled.

Measures 14 inch diameter and 6 1/2 inches high.

A beautiful piece of walnut and a simple shape to compliment it. Good job!

   You have certainly made a nice   bowl from that piece Martin. Its a shame that a  lot of the big pieces we have left have got
   Shake.
 
   Great job in stopping the splitting on the pith  ( centre ).

Martin, good to see you posting, I trust that you are now fully recovered and on the way back to full fitness.

That is a great shaped salad bowl, it would grace any table.
