Latest bowl and hollow form
« on: June 18, 2017, 12:54:33 PM »
First is 'Spring' Latest in the series fo seasons from Mo. It has a female blackbird on a nest in ivy wit the male blackbird attending with diner, a comma butterfly and a cranefly. It is 15" sycamore. C&C welcome as always.

Got fed up making bowls so reverted to type LOL. Second is a hollow form in a piece of partly rotten apple, inside is a very rare phoenix egg. sat on a little oak burr nest. The hollow form is 10" tall.

I think everyone must be on holiday Pete ;)

Love the first one and I presume it is done in collaboration with Mo if so then well done to you both.

The second I like the form but not sure about the egg inside but will need to look at it a little longer

Blackbirds, one of my favourite birds. Lots more choice for Mo to work on stepping into the world of British ornithology.

A Phoenix egg, here's hoping it does not burst into flame when it hatches. Great rescue from a piece of wood that was trying hard to become firewood.

Another couple of fine piece's Pete

I think we would now know Mo's work as soon as we see it, I love the detail that Mo gets in her art.

All the best

Ed
