Other than a bottle stopper shop ;D ;D

Try a place that supplies optics to the bar trade such as these https://www.nisbets.co.uk/beaumont-replacement-optic-inserts/gk109

Cheers Dave

Do you mean these? or these in packs of five for the more basic ones.

Axminster sell the silicone seals in packs of 5 for £4.13, https://www.axminster.co.uk/craftprokits-woodturner-s-bottle-stoppers-pkt-5-700273but there may be even cheaper sources.

The axminster ones aren't right. I bought some and they are tapered inside and wouldn't stay on a wooden core without being glued on.

Thanks for your replies, I was looking for the metal tapered ones that you add a top to. I looked on the Axminster site and they seem very expensive.

Thanks to everyone, yes I did see Pete's post thanks Les. I will see what happens but I can't remember paying nearly four quid each for the ones from Axminster.

I have bought all of these in the past. The silicone stoppers from Axminster do require a taper on the foot of the bottle stopper, and some glue, but if there's a slight recess right at the top of the taper, they do sit very neatly, so I don't agree with Paul that they are no good.
The cheap ones from ebay are easy to work with, but the quality is mixed, you get some where the thread isn't straight and the result is a little untidy. The Axminster metal stoppers are good and give a tidy finish, but are a bugger to work with.
