Breakfast with the Alchemist - the copper sausage saga.
« on: May 30, 2018, 02:22:52 PM »
Probably the final episode of the Bergenstrauser Saga.
Those who could be bothered to read past postings will know that the Prof' has been trying, in vain, to turn wood into precious metal and was last heard of incarcerated in the Tower.
The Prof' and Daisy Daisy have now escaped from the Tower and after cycling like fury they reached the demesne of the Alchemist just as dawn was breaking.
The Alchemist understood their plight and immediately set up a brew.

The result you can see --- not a glittering gold ingot but a copper sausage.

Oh----- how did they escape?  Well, Daisy Daisy Malaprop, pillion tandem racer and current travelling companion of Prof' Bergenstrauser, tied 3 sheets to the wind and they climbed out of a window.

All made out of Sycamore but the eggs were turned (over easy?) from Cherry

C&C always welcome. Nick

Nick,

Not sure even my dogs would eat those sausages, they do look a tad overdone!

And I do hope it's not the end of the Saga, it's been such a fun story.

Great work.
Oh Lord, Lead me not into temptation…

...Oh who am I kidding, follow me, I know a shortcut!

Nick, the story is becoming more important than any copper sausage; how dare you even think of bringing such a ripping yarn to an early conclusion.

Les

p.s. ... I'm with Bryan regarding the non-copper sausage, Are you sure it's not black pudd'n?
Education is important, but wood turning is importanter.
