Brown Mallee burl [burr] with a Gidgee stopper finished with DO and Wipe-on-Poly, 6"x6".

Hughie,

it looks wonderful, but two questions;

Once the stopper is removed, is the neck long enough to pour from, and

does the Brown Mallee improve the flavour like the used oak in whisky barrels? (only being cheeky).

Hi Hughie, I think this is a fantastic piece of your work I love every thing about this decanter, The shape, the beautiful piece of Burr,the finish. I have fallen in love with this. ;D ;D Well done.Regards John

Hi Hughie,
excellent work. I prefer to take ebony for the finial or lid. It fits to all woods and is a precious finial
for a precious piece. Well done, Hughe.
