Making Wax Sticks

Bryan Milham:
I'm sure we've all had this problem - a shattered wax stick, or bit left over too small to use.

I knew I could melt it down and reform it but could never think what to melt it into.

Then I saw this - a silicon Ice Stick maker - just the job.

John D Smith:
What a good idea.regards John

Philip Greenwood:

These moulds are available from IKEA for 99p. Or if you prefer round 'sticks' get a silicone cup cake tray. Makes the cup cakes taste funny, but they are brilliant for making carnauba wax discs.
