Sugar Caster in Alt Ivory
« on: June 27, 2024, 07:33:58 PM »
Just finished this sugar caster in  alt. ivory .A tribute to  the fabulous work of Bill Jones. Similar to one I made a few years ago . Just to prove I had not lost the touch of thread chasing . Well it was certainly rusty but in the end worked. Thought it about time to keep the gallery alive .  This turning was an  interesting exercise not only in thread chasing but in laying out the drilling  so that the holes are all radial and equally spaced round the circumference.

Very  nice indeed. I can see why you sweated over the holes. You've clearly not lost your touch!
