Myrtle bowl with some birds eye burl

Tasmanian Myrtle with some birds eye burl [ burr] 7.5x3.5 satin finish. A simple form, this wood very pretty and too much decoration would take away from the colour.

Hughie,
That is a very attractive piece of wood. The satin finish works well on it.
And it is nice to see you turn a simple shape once in a while.

All your kind words are much appreciated, thanks.
This bowl is destined for the USA for the Beads of Courage charity. It will by then have a a lid of some sorts and its for some child with cancer to thier beads of courage in.
