I'm getting twisted

Here are my latest turnings,
The first is 14X5 1/2, Mixed wood, Sycamore, Almond,Cherry and Blackwood
The second is 10X 5 1/2 Sycamore It will be my wifes Easter egg I will fill it with sweets (Wrapped) The entry is through the egg base.

Nice work John I know how long these take.

I've been trying to make them for the last month or so. Getting the bines all the same size is my failure at the moment.

I like your pieces the idea of leaving a couple of solid panels works really well, I think that the finial spiral top looks a bit big it takes my eye away from the main form.

I love the idea of making one and filling it with sweets for Easter that's an idea I'm going to try and copy for my wife, back to the power rasp

I like the easter egg. I made the mistake of showing my wife and now she wants one. Don't know where I'd start haha.
