Chestnut spirit stains.
Decorative or functional,I don't really care as long as they sell.
As I told an old lady once when she asked me the question .What can I keep in them I told her if she paid for them she could keep coal in them if she wanted.

A great display George, I prefer the orange bowls but am also drawn to the light green bowl. Only my opinion but I am not feeling the dark green.

Very nice George. Obviously I saw these when I was at yours the other day and they look better in the flesh so to speak.

Thank you Steve and Mark.
I agree Steve the orange ones seem to have a warmer feel to them but I have sold several of the green ones .
I suppose part of it is to do with the colours in their hose curtains and such.
Regards George
