Hi all
Thank you all for your comments, much appreciated.

Thank you. Yes I make other shapes but often don't get time to photograph before they go to outlets. Very rarely do I make natural edge, mostly only at demo's not really my cup of tea. This type of form is one of my fav's and sells well so I make lots of them.
Some have been made of Yew but I don't post pictures of all my work, but have some more being made, in walnut and sycamore too so will post if I get time to take pictures of them.
Abrasive, depends on what type of piece I am making, if I am texturing I don't use abrasive but generally 320 grit is as low as I go as the buffing then removes anything else. The Yew ones here are yet to me buffed so will be more satin than matt when finished.
Thank you all again.
