Burr Elm Box
« on: January 09, 2016, 10:02:13 AM »
Well you can't win sometimes, I made this as a request for a xmas present, so non profit making, posted signed for and it has not been delivered. The post Office is now looking for it. Sorry pictures are only with my phone again. :-[

I know exactly how you feel....I did a Trans-Atlantic swap with a turner from USA and my bowl never arrived there. What's more, the Post Office refused to compensate me because in the original claim form I stated that I had made the bowl, which they didn't accept as proof of its value.

Having said that.....it's a darned fine vessel and I sincerely hope it turns up, eventually.

If it turns up at my place I might not tell anyone!

I hope it is found, it would be a shame for something this beautiful to go missing.

A very nice box. Was a little surprised when I saw the last picture to see where the lid join is.

Hope it turns up

...that must be a relief, Steve. It would have been such a shame had it been lost.

Great to read this. Christmas might be late, but better than not at all.
