I have been experimenting a lot in between turning teapots and realized l have got way behind in taking photos and posting. Here is one, made from Pear, the leaves and vines are a combination of pyro and piercing and the texture from a reciprocating tool.

Very nice Mike, both in the turning and detail of the leaves. Hope you are well and hope to catch up some time in the near future.

Beautifully done.  Love the overall texture and the way you've textured the leaves.  Love it.

The title 'Tea Leaves' made me wonder if the leaves were Camellia leaves but a quick search shows they grow on bushes not vines.

The delicacy of some of the vine lines is amazing for pyrography work and I love the way the grain in the wood just comes through the texture work and gives it just that little bit more interest.
