Red Gum spirals

As the titles says its Red Gum harvested form an old stump at the back of a local chuch.
Rather small at 10cm approx in dia, finished with nitrocellulose 8 coats I think, lost count as high humidity stopped the process several times

back to your spiral forms but no less beautiful to look at. The many coats of nitrocellulose gives it a very wet and organic look.

Though how you make something only 10cm in dia look so much more escapes me.

Its probably close to 11 cm I just round it out to the nearest The wet look is what the recipient wanted and she has seen the post and gave the thumbs up.
As to size etc I think its the spirals and keeping them bulbous on a small dia. Thanks for the comment.
