Is it possible to airbrush Jo Sonja paints? What do you thin them with?

Turners don't make mistakes, they have design opportunities

Being acrylic I would try water.

Water can thin acrylic but too much and it looses its coverage capability. It becomes grainy. Isopropl alchol is good to use as thinners, hu berol do it in 250ml bottles, but surgical alcohol is the same stuff.

I recommed a mix of 30% alcohol to 70% orange juice - oh no, that's a different usage!

Jo Sonja do a flow medium, which does what it says - makes the paints flow more. I generally mix the paint with some flow medium and a few drops of water when using it in an airbrush. An airbrush with a bigger nozzle also helps - perhaps 0.5 or 0.8mm instead of 0.2 or 0.3mm. You can also increase the pressure a little to spray thicker mediums.

Hi John, I thin mine with flow enhancer when I do my "cosmic Cloud" stuff. Water does work but no where near as good as the flow enhancer.

Best Regards

Gary
