Good evening everyone.
Just introducing myself. I am Terry from the Hull area.
I have retired from the day job and have decided to enjoy the world of wood become an "apprentice woodturner"
I am teaching myself at the moment yurning mainly bowls and platters but am thinking of having some lessons soon.
Looking forward to speaking to you all in the near future.

welcome from myself (Bryan).
As well as lessons, we'd seriously recommend joining a group, you'll learn as much from contact and talking with fellow turners and from attending club nights .

Hello Terry and welcome to the Forum I think you will find plenty of help from the members of this forum and the AWGB in general. I agree with the advice if you can find a woodturning group near to you then join then join the club Woodturners are always willing to give help and advice.

Hi Terry, Welcome to the forum and Woodturning, will check as to any pictures of your bowls an platters, you'll find we're all kind-ish on comments and helpful on advice.
