 I like all the pieces you have posted, but it would be nice to know what species of wood, the sizes and what methods you used to get these finishes.

I'm definitely with Martin, please give us more detail with your postings, although I think I'd be right if I said the second one was Oak.

They are stunning to look at, I'm still truing to work out the effect of the bowl in the top picture - vee Groves on an offset grain turning?
