Broom....

I discovered a reasonably large, for broom, dead standing broom shrub on one of my hidden terraces.

Has anyone ever turned broom?

Just wondering if its going to be a bit fibrous to achieve anything useful?

There's only one way to find out. Probably make great spindles.
