Thanks for the link, David. I don't think that I'll ever be a segmenter....I'm far too spontaneous to tolerate all that planning and preparation, but I must admit that it's a fine, attractive piece of work.
p.s. ... I wonder what the HSE inspectors would make of that workshop!

A good vid but bad on H&S >:(
 In my experience the centre plug will shrink at a different rate to the segments around it and eventually the segments will come apart at their outside edge.
     Should have used a floating bottom.
Workshop to die for though.
