(1/2) > >>

Eric Harvey:
well,I didn`t have any joy finding someone with an engineering lathe here,so went on the internet  and found an enegineering works at Drayton called F.W.Frost,they`ve been very helpful and for the princely some of £25.00p their making me a new backplate to fit my Dremel chuck/ highspeed flexy drive motor,so in a couple of days it`l be no more looking for that collect that always seems to disapear and I`ll be able to use any size mandril with no problems any more, cheers,

Eric.

Bryan Milham:
I have also found local engineering companies of great value. No job too small and they always seem interested in you yas a hobbiest. A resourse we oft-times overlook with the preponderance of 'latest must have' gadgets.

Eric Harvey:
Thats what I`ve always liked about engineering firms, big or small, they always make time no matter what size the job is as you say, regards,

Eric.

Eric Harvey:
have been using the chuck with new backplate for a few days now,had to do a little bit of fettling on the outside thread of the backplate as it didn`t sit quite sqare, but apart from that its working fine, glad I spent the money doing it,so much quicker now, regards,

Eric.

Bryan Milham:
