Don't stop turning until there's nothing left!

(1/1)

Les Symonds:
Do you ever get that problem when you're turning something and it just doesn't work out the way you planned it, so you turn a bit more and accept that you'll get the shape right, but it'll just have to be smaller. Well, this advert on e-bay suggests that the best thing to do is to just keep going. Reduce it all to shavings and sell the shavings.

With yew at a density of about 18kg per cubic foot, you'd get 3.600 of these portions, and at £1.95 per 5gm portion, that's a tad over £7,000 per cube. Can't be bad!

Les....who's just off out to the workshop to make some shavings!

 ;D ...  :) ...   :D ....  :'(  ....  You'd pay for a chipper in a 12 months.

Away you go.  Les.
