Pepper mills
« on: March 01, 2014, 09:08:25 AM »
Hello, here I am again, ohh nooo!
Well I just wanted to see if the image size is this time of a reasonable size.
These are pepper mills, 3,5; 6; and 8 inch. Cherry and black walnut.
Thanks for looking and commenting.

   Hi SEVILLA
You have achieved a nice finish on these pepper mills, the cherry contrasting well with the walnut.

You are not on your own with image sizing we have the same problem.

Hi Sevilla...a nice set of mills, good to see that you don't stick to just the traditional design.

You've cracked the problem with the oversized image....looks fine.

Sevilla,

Just in time. I've decided to have a go at a few Pepper Mills, so I'm looking for a little inspiration.

Black Walnut, we have to import it but I admit it is one of my favourite woods.

Yes Black walnut is nice and take linseed oil to a very beautiful shine. But european walnut, although not as durable is also very handsome and perhaps better with its variation in color and you do not have to import it!

Three very nice mills. I must admit that I like the middle sized one on the left, look a bit like n oil pot with a cork in the top very apt for the kitchen

Thank you. The mechanism is a metal (SS) of the grinding type.
The middle size on the left (?) was meant to be like a...fiasco...
