Storm gifts !
« on: March 10, 2014, 08:59:09 PM »
I have recently acquired , and been offered  plenty of wood as a result of this recent stormy spell , Laburnum , Yew , Large Beech and Ash & Elm ,Robinia , Oak with a nice bit of browning ,and Sycamore  most of this I will seal with pallet wrap , and put in a shady place until I get round to using it ( I am already well stocked ) as I do  not  do much turning in the summer months , has anyone else had luck with windfall recently ?

I've bagged a few tree's birch, yew, cherry & a tree of haven. But better still a farmer friend has given me full access to his woodland to help myself  :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

The only thing I saw down around N Somerset was a 12' sapling.

Not that I'm desperate for wood - time to work it is my shortage.
Oh Lord, Lead me not into temptation…

...Oh who am I kidding, follow me, I know a shortcut!
