Ebonised Oak Bowl

Well this is my latest creation 440mm x 50mm ebonised oak bowl with bead cut with spindle gouge

This was created under the guidance of my mentor Tom Pockley - Thanks Tom

Ed,

stretching yourself into the realms of decorative work already. A well executed platter, that looks balanced to the eye. The defining bead around the outside makes the piece, so well done.

And moreso - well done on having a mentor, to guide your development, well done to Tom for taking on this role, something more of us should do.

Thanks all for your comments, the images are poor compared to the bowl.

Hopefully in a year or two I'll be able to help people get as much out of turning as I am, my son who is 24 has also now started and loving it too.
