More buffing
« on: March 25, 2014, 06:43:20 PM »
I am posting this as a separate thread so not to hijack gwyntog one

I am looking at buying the Chestnut buffing system.

What I would like to know is with the components of the kit alone. how deep and small can you buff the inside of an item before you are unable to get the mops into it.

Hope this makes sense.

the Chesnut system has 4" mops,so would think anything over about 4 1/2" or the mop could catch on the wrong edge of the bowl etc;.

Turners don't make mistakes, they have design opportunities

Thank you guys, It was the minimum size using the wheels in the kit

For smaller stuff has any one seen these THESE just scroll down below the polishing compounds there is one that goes down to 30mm
