You know I usually like your work but not this one I am not sure why but the pattern just does not work for me.

I think that inner band detracts from the piece, but I quite like the colour and the overall finish of this piece  :)

Jason,

I normally like this kind of work but the colour applied from the bowl section out is too similar to the colour used to fill the majority of the textured features, hence it blends in a little much, hiding the effect of the deeply scored/ carved lines.

A complementary colour (but that might have reduced the 'Blue effect' of the pieces name) or possible a vastly different blue (maybe metallic) would have worked a little better.

I'd go more on the name of Blue Grass, as I look at it more, the form's growing on me.
