  Turned some pieces to show the forks in the trees . Have to use the word forks Diane wont let me use the other word :o :o :o.
  They are Horse Chestnut.... walnut .... Plum.... Hawthorn. The first picture is to show the shape used on them all.

Well there's always a time not to do other things to our turning and I have to say this is one of them. I love the shape and the design really show of the grain patten of theses forks. (I would use the other word if Di does not like it :))

I like the one on the left as you look at them in the middle pic,very dramatic grain figuring on it,makes it really stand out,cheers,

Beautiful use of dramatic wood.  I picked up some beautiful 'Forked' wood the other day, if you don't mind I will post a pick of it here. ?

Both of them on the left show the grain better for me.

I have to agree that this is a time not to do anything with them other than turn and finish to let the natural beauty show through.
