I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

One incredible Platter, beautiful Ash and have done it justice, need I say I like the form.

What next best thing to do with the oddity ... nothing .. big, bold, chunky and totally raw ... life as it comes ... don't have a thumbs up .. so  8) ..

Bryan had concern with it sat on a surface.. how about a turned ring to sit on, give a lift to the piece as well.

Cheers  David
